ETV Networks

ETV is the abbreviation of Eenadu Television. ETV network is one of the biggest television networks in India. Its flagship channel ETV Telugu is inaugurated on 27 August 1995 by the most renowned Chairman of this channel Mr. Ramoji Rao who owns the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, Eenadu News Paper in Telugu and many other establishments. When starting this channel as other channels in that time it was also an analogue channel. It transmitted through Intelsat 704 at 66 degree east in that time and migrate to Insat 2E at 83 degree east later. Now ETV network has 12 channels in various Indian regional languages. In 2003 the ETV network channels were converted to digital mode from analogue mode. Now ETV networks channels are transmitting through Insat 4 A at the same direction of Insat 2 E in Mpeg 4 and encrypted mode (Pay Channels). The studio of ETV is in the film city of Hyderabad.
