He is the player who played the biggest number of test matches. In the 3rd test match against Srilanka, Sachin has played his169 test matches. The old record was 168 matches in the name of the Australian batsman Stewaugh. Alan Border with 156 test matches in the third place, Ricky Ponding with146 matches in the fourth place, Shane Warne with 145 matches in fifth place, Rahul Dravid with141 matches in sixth place and Jack Kalis with 140 matches in the 7th place. Sachin Tendulker is the man who owns the highest number of centuries (46 times) and highest number of half centuries (93 times) in one day international cricket matches. He bags the highest number of man of the match awards (60 times), highest number of man of the series awards (14 times) and highest number of boundaries (1927 boundaries) in international cricket matches. His partnership with Rahul Dravid of 331 runs is the highest partnership in any wicket of international cricket matches.
