Kairali TV is a satellite channel in Malayalam language from Malayalam Communication Private Limited celebrates its 10th anniversary on 17th August 2010. It is a channel under Communist Party of India (Marxist). It collects its working capital 58.5 crore from 2.5lakh share holders from coolie to business magnets. Famous Malayalam film actor Mr. Barath Mammotty is the chairman of the channel. It faces a lot of problems during these years and survives from all of it’s and became a profitable channel. It gave 5% dividend for its share holders in the last financial year. It shows above 70% growth in the last two financial years. It starts the first music reality show in Malayalam named “Gandarva Sangeetam”. It also starts the first reverse quiz competition named Aswamedam. Pravasa Lokam, Penmalayalam and India Inside are some of the most popular programs transmitting through this channel. On 8 February 2010 it changed its studio and offices to Kairali Towers and Studio Complex. A nine storey building designed as the logo of Kairali channel in the capital of Kerala, Thiruvanandapuram. Its sister channel Kairali People has also celebrate its 5th anniversary on the same occasion. Kairali People is News and current affairs channel. “Karali We” another channel of the company that dedicated all of its time for youth. It launched on14 April 2007.
