On 4th December 2008 Jaihind TV launched. Jaihind 
TV is a Malayalam entertainment and news channel.This is a channel under the control of Indian National Congress party ,Kerala division.The channel was inaugurated by Sonia Gandhi at Delhi. It transmitting programs all around the clock . In its 24 hour transmission news,film related programs, current affairs programs and talk shows etc..are included. It transmitted through the satellite Insat 2E at 83 degree east . Jaihind has the plan to start channels into other Indian languages.
