Kairali TV is a Malayalam satellite TV channel , is 
the first channel in India which collect 100% of its working capital from the people and started its transmission in 2000. It is a channel under the control of Communist Party of India(Marxist).It transmitted through the satellite NSS 703 in analogue mode .It used a higher frequency for its transmission so people who used C-band dishes with an LNB with the downlink frequency of 950-1450 and receiver tuner with the frequency of 950-1450 could not get the channel properly. Later Kairali TV add digital transmission (MPEG-2)with its analogue transmission thorough the same transponder.At last as like other channels its also stopped analogue transmission and changed as a fully digital channel.It shifted the transmission to Insat 2E/APR1. It transmitted a variety of programs,movies,news,comedy programs like Jagapoga,Comediyum Mimixumum Pinne Nagalum and Kottayam Nasser show etc. Gandarva sangeetham Senior and Gandrva sangeetham junior are the most attracted programs in Kairali TV. Malayalam film superstar PADMASREE BARATH Mammootty is the chairman of the channel and Jhon Britas is the Managing director of this channel.
