Parvathi Won The SuperStar Junior-2 Title

Parvathi a 14 years old girl from Malappuram district won the SuperStar Junior-2 2009(A Music Reality Show) title of Amrita TV when she got the SMS vote than the other two contestants. The first prize includes a cash prize of five laksh Indian rupees as cheque, trophy and certificate. The first runner up was Ibi from Mahe. He got the cash prize of three laksh as cheque, trophy and certificate. The third prize was to Anver and he got the prize of two laksh, trophy and certificate. Suresh Gopi a Malayalam film star announced the winners and gave trophy's for the winners in front of an invited audience. Amrita TV CEO Sudakhar Jayram, president of programs Amrita TV Mr. Shyama Prasad, play back singer Mrs. Shubha, Kalayan group owner Mr.Kalayanaraman, Amrita SuperStar Junior-2 permanent judges: Mr.Jayachandran(music director) and Vijay Yesudas(playback singer) and many other well known personals are attended in the occassion.

The dance performance of Shamna Kaseem and party and instrument music by Stephen Devasya and party encouraged the audience. The grand finale program was transmitted on Amrita TV on 11 April 2009 Saturday from 5:30PM to10:00 PM as live broadcast.
