Asianet started the test transmission of its new channel named Asianet Middle East. It is the fourth Malayalam channel from the stable of Asianet. It is channel for the Gulf Malayalies. It may be the attempt to keep its Middle East views when Asianet and Asianet Plus are going to pay channels. Its rivel Surya and Kiran will becomepay channel on 1 April 2010.
