Indian TV Channels Banned in Pakistan



The cable operators in Pakistan stopped to distribute Indian television channels in their country. The action is due to the order of Pak Media Regulatory Body. Indian channels were very popular in Pakistan. By this action Pakistan cable subscribers denied to see their most loved Indian TV channels. Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority Chairman Malik Mushtak said that the action is due to the order of Pak Supreme Court on 25th October 2010. Indian TV channels like Star and Sony TV have a lot of viewers in Pakistan. The sports channels of Islamic channels are also banned to their distribution in Pakistan. Around 30 channels are banned to distribute in Pakistan by this order. Supreme Court of Pakistan also banned screening of Bollywood movies on TV and also in theater. Star Plus, Star Movies, B4U and Zee Music are some of the TV channels banned in Pakistan.

As people prefer VODs now a days due to busy routines and the favorite programs they missed watching. Looking forward to your reply. Thanks bye ;)
