How to reduce KU band signal problems in the rainy seasons?

1.Focus for the maximum signal

Focus your dish antenna for the maximum signal strength.By improving signal it can ensure the minimum signal to work for the set top box in the rainy season.

2.Use a dish antenna with more diameter

if the problem still remaining after focusing your dish antenna for the maximum signal,the problem may be the size of your dish antenna.If you use a 60 cm Ku band dish now change it with a 90 cm or 120 cm dish .It will help to improve the signal strength and also help to reduce the signal problem in rainy seasons.

3. Use a C band stamped metal dish instead of Ku band dish

It can use a C band metal dish or fiber dish in the place of Ku band dish antenna to avoid the signal problem completely.Don’t use a C band dish with perforated sheet.Use the Ku band LNB in the place of C band LNB.

Main problems of C band dish antenna compare to Ku band dish antenna

• Big in size:So C band dish antenna wants more space to install to compare Ku band dish antenna

• Capture wind:More in size means increase the chance to capture the wind .So avoid to install the C band dish antenna on much height.
