Amrita TV’s Festival Flash To Cover IFFK 2010
December 10 - 17 at 4pm weekdays and at 9.30 am Weekends
Amrita TV films the footage of the international event for its viewers, through Festival Flash.
Festival Flash is a half-an-hour, 8 episoded festival special programme coinciding with the IFFK week from December 10-17, that will be telecast Monday to Friday at 4.00pm and during the weekends at 9.30 am.
Festival Flash will capture the pulsating excitement of the IFFK, one of the most prestigious festivals in the FIAPC circuit and a film buffs dream, that brings world cinema within viewing distance of the ordinary cine-goers through its various sections of world cinema, documentaries in film format, retrospective, homage, tribute etc.
Organised in a magazine format, Festival Flash comprises of an entertaining series of segments that carry accounts of prominent films being screened in categories like Panorama, Competition, Homage etc; approaches prominent personalities in films both National and International for compact interviews that reveal their views on their individual work, world cinema, Indian films etc ;presents turnstile fresh impressions, comments and reactions of the viewers as they pour out of the theatres.
As the best of global films from the far corners of Africa to Latin America to Asia and Europe gets showcased in the Capital, Amrita TV’s Festival Flash will bring the highlights starting from the lighting of the inaugural lamp by Waheeda Rehman to the conferring of awards at the conclusion.
