Asianet, Asianet Plus and Asianet Suvarna started their Mpeg 4 test transmission. Asianet and Asianet Plus are Malayalam channels while Asianet Suvarna is a Kannada channel. These three channels are under the control of “Star Jupiter” group. The Mpeg 4 transmission is through the same transponder in Insat 2E and the same parameters of Asianet in the Mpeg2 mode. To receive the Mpeg 4 transmission the customer need a receiver with Mpeg 4 mode. Surya TV and Kiran TV the rival of Asianet were converted their Mpeg 2 mode to Mpeg 4 mode already. To receive Asianet, Asianet Plus and Asianet Suvarna in Mpeg 4 mode, please tune your Mpeg 4 receiver in the below parameter.
