Asianet Middle East

On 1st April 2010 Asianet has become a pay channel. But there is a big problem faced by the company is that would lose the gulf viewers of this channel. About one million Malayalies are living in gulf countries now for their job. Asianet become pay channel means it would lose a huge number of viewers in the Middle East countries. To solve this problem Asianet starts a new channel for gulf viewers named Asianet Middle East. The main intention of this channel is to protect the gulf viewers of the channel. This channel is transmitting almost all the programs in Asianet channel and some special programs for gulf Malayalies. The time schedule of the channel is arranged as suitable for the gulf viewers. The channel has only the uplink license in India so it cannot supply through cable TV networks in India. But the home dish antenna users can receive the channel.
