World Cup 2010 on ESPN StarSports

ESPNStarSports has got the right of transmitting in the Indian sub continent for the coming World Cup football match in South Africa. It has spent 4 core dollars, about 184 core Indian rupees to gain the transmission right. In 2002 Tensport has got the transmission right in Indian Sub continent for 30 lakh dollars. In 2006 ESPNStarSports has spend 90 lakh dollars for the right of transmission in the Indian sub continent. Now the channel spends an amount that is more than 4 times in the previous World Cup Football match. 1954 World Cup was the first World Cup in which the television transmission started to telecast World Cup football matches. It conducted in the country of Switzerland where the headquarters of FIFA is also located. The final matches were between Hungary and western Germany in Bern and Western Germany won the match for 3-2. But the match is also famous for the faulty decision of the referee’s .In the 87 minute of the match PusCas Scored a goal for Hungary. But the linesman called off side and did not allow the goal. But in the television replies it is clears that PusCas was not in offside.
