TEN Sports

Taj Television Limited is a full-service television concern, based in Dubai Media City with eight regional offices across the sub-continent. Taj was established in January 2001. Taj Television Limited employs nearly 150 highly skilled and experienced professionals from all over the world. TEN (Taj Entertainment Network) Sports was a channel under Taj TV. TEN Sports was launched on April 1, 2002, and is now the world's premier sports channel for South Asians, reaching over 55 million homes across the Sub-continent, Middle East, Europe and Asia. Ten Sports is owned by Abdul Rahman Bukhatir. Zee Telefilm Ltd. and Taj TV Ltd. have signed an agreement and Zee acquires 50% stake in TEN Sports. The deal was around 500Crore Indian Rupees. . After this agreement they launched Zee Sports was a sports channel under Zee Telefilms Ltd and its renamed as TEN Action Plus. This channel is dedicated for football.  Now its portfolio consists of Ten Sports, Ten Cricket and Ten Action+ channels, digital studio facilities and integrated transmission services for various broadcast clients. TEN Sports has the right to transmit cricket matches in Pakisthan, Sri Lanka and West Indies. It has also right to transmit UEFA Champions League, WWE, US Open and Hokey World Cup. Zee Sports has the right to transmit Indian football, Davis Cup, WTA and the Italian Series.
