Swetha Ashok from Calicut won the StarSinger Junior (a musical reality show) title of Asianet (A Malayalam satellite television channel) conducted on 14 February 2010 at 6 PM. Mr.Venugopal, Mrs. Sujatha and DR.Oomanakuttti teacher were the judges in the final and they decided the winner. The show started with 24 contestants and end in the final with 5 contestants. The winner got a flat worth rupees 5 million as prize in Cochin, sponsored by Flairalliance group, one of the major builders and 
developers in Kerala. Malayalam film superstar Mr. Suresh Gopi announced the winner. Flairalliance chairman T. N Nisam hand over the key to Swetha.The show conducted in university hall, Trivandrum. Athira Murali other contestant from Punaloor Won the second prize of rupees 3 lak. The second prize announced by film actor Mr. Saikumar. Third prize amount of 2 lak got to Sadika from Ramanattukara, Calicut. The forth prize and fifth prize rupees one lak goes to Vishnu Krishnan from Ernamkulam and Vishnu. The new Star Singer junior named “Star Singer Junior season 2”will start on 20 February 2010, Saturday on Asianet. Like the Star Singer Junior it will transmmitt on Saturday and Sunday.
