It is a bad news for the Malayalis viewers of the DD Direct Plus DTH (DD Direct Plus is worlds one and only free direct to home service provider). DD Direct Plus removed two of their favorite Malayalam channels from its platform. Amrita TV and Jaihind TV were the Malayalam channels that are removed from the DD Direct Plus platform. Now only two Malayalam channels are available for the viewers of DD Direct Plus. Karali TV and the Dooradarshan owned DD Malayalam channels are the remaining Malayalam channels on DD Direct Plus platform. This is also a bad news for Dish TV (India’s biggest DTH provider) they used the same signal of DD Direct Plus to provide these channels on their platform. So Amrita TV and Jaihind TV are also unavailable for the Dish TV subscribers now. With Amrita TV and Jaihind some other channels were also removed from the platform of DD Direct Plus.
