ZEE Bangla

Zee Bangla is a general entertainment channel in Bengali language. It is a channel from one of the biggest television networks in India named ZEE Network.  It was first launched in 1996 and ends its transmission after two months due to poor popularity. It re-launched on 15^th September 1999 and the name was changed as Alpha Bangla. The channel was a great success. It unveiled its new logo on27March 2007 and renamed as Zee Bangla. ZEE Bangla has a huge number of viewers across the world. Most of the viewers of this channel are from India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Japan and Indonesia.

Zee Bangla is the pioneer of reality shows and has changed the entertainment scenario with super hit shows like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Mirakkel, Dance Bangla Dance and Star of Bengal. The channel has programming mix comprises most popular daily soaps and mega reality shows in the prime band are Asambhav, Rajpath, Rani Kahini, Erao Shatru... The popularity of Zee Bangla arises from its understanding of local culture and beliefs reflecting in the programming mix.
